Anubias barteri ‘Mini Coin’ – Tropica 1-2-Grow! in vitro
A miniature Anubias with small, round, dark green leaves, ideal for decorating rocks, roots and nano aquariums.
Description
Anubias barteri ‘Mini Coin’
Anubias barteri ‘Mini Coin’ is a particularly decorative miniature variety. It develops numerous small round leaves of a deep green and gradually forms a compact plant cushion.
Easy to maintain and undemanding, it is perfectly suited to nano aquariums, aquascapes and foreground areas. Its slow growth makes it possible to keep a clean and balanced composition for a long time.
Characteristics:
• Difficulty level: easy
• Growth: slow
• Approximate height: 3 to 10 cm
• Lighting: low to medium
• CO₂ supply: optional
• Placement: foreground, rock or root
• Cultivation: Tropica 1-2-Grow! in vitro
Planting tips:
Gently remove the plant from its container, then carefully rinse off the nutrient gel with clean water. Separate it into 6 to 8 small portions before attaching them to a stone or a root using thread or aquarium-safe glue.
The rhizome must never be buried in the substrate, as this could cause it to rot. Only the roots may be placed lightly into the soil.
Advantages of in vitro cultivation:
• Guaranteed free of snails, algae or parasites
• Free of pesticides dangerous to aquarium inhabitants
• Suited to aquariums housing shrimp
• Several portions can be obtained from a single pot
• Excellent plant for small aquariums and aquascaping
